Firefox 3.1 Beta has been released!
I love the Mozilla Firefox browser. Don't we all right? After all it's more secure than Internet Explorer, it's harder for adware to take control of Firefox, webpages look better in Firefox 3, and you have a lot of
Firefox 3.1 addons to choose from.
Firefox 3.1 beta version was just released this week. If you're a Firefox user then you should definitely update to the latest version. The latest version has a new javascript engine which speeds up websites like Gmail, Google Talk and other websites that use javascript.
Here is a list of the new
Firefox 3.1 Beta features:
- Improved javascript engine - Means faster loading times for webpages
- New tab shortcut - Allows you to easily switch between tabs by using CTRL + TAB
- Support for video and audio HTML tags
- Tracemonkey - Speeds up Firefox
Somewhere in the middle of November Mozilla plans to release
Firefox 3.1 beta 2. The release date for Firefox 3.1 has not yet been confirmed but Mozilla aims on releasing it in late 2008 or early 2009.
